Privacy policy

This policy covers the Studio marketing site operated by GravitasLabs. It explains what personal data we collect through this site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

This site collects personal data through the contact form (“Talk to us”) and the demo request form, and — only if you accept it — through analytics, described below. When you submit one of those, we receive:

• your name, company, work email address and, if you give it, your role;
• the message you write and which enquiry type you selected;
• the date and time you submitted it, and a record that you ticked the consent box;
• the IP address the request came from, and your browser's user-agent string.

We keep the last two to detect and limit automated abuse of the form. Apart from the spam check and the optional analytics described next, nothing else on this site collects personal data. There are no advertising tags.

Spam protection

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells people apart from automated spam. When the form is on screen, your browser loads a small script from Cloudflare, which looks at technical signals from your browser and device, including your IP address, and issues a token. We pass that token back to Cloudflare to confirm it before we accept your enquiry, and we record whether the check passed. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf. It states that Turnstile sets no cookies and does not use the data for advertising or to build a profile of you; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how this site is used: which pages are visited, which links are clicked, and whether visitors go on to try the demo or contact us. It only sets cookies and only identifies your browser across visits after you accept analytics in the banner. Until then, and if you decline, Google receives only cookieless, anonymous pings that cannot be tied to you. Google processes this data on our behalf; it is not used for advertising. Google may transfer it outside the UK and EU under its standard contractual clauses.

The data is kept for 14 months. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie of its own, gl_consent, which records your analytics choice for 180 days and is shared with the other gravitaslabs.io sites so you are asked once. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell returning visitors from new ones. The Cloudflare Turnstile check described above is designed to work without cookies.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if a conversation follows, to carry it on. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. We do not use your details for marketing unrelated to the enquiry you raised, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is handled by the service providers that run this site on our behalf — our hosting provider, our database and email providers, Cloudflare for the spam check, and Google for analytics — who process it only on our instructions. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

The demo configurator

“Try the demo” opens a separate application at a different address, which asks for your name and email before it lets you in. That application collects and stores those details itself; this policy does not cover it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or restrict what we do with it. You can withdraw your consent at any time — that does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
